Cool Accessorizing Element!

We're still amped up from the Petty concert, but I guess it's time I move on to new posts... :-)

Last nite we went to a caribbean restaurant and when I went in the restroom look what was in the sink. How fun is this!? We later met the owner and when I commented on the shells he said that he had put them in the sink to clean them, and had forgot about them. Then someone remarked how cool it looked so he decided to just leave them. Neat!

So of course I just HAD to come home and do it in our powder room! My shells were sprayed gold from another project, but I think they look pretty cool in here with the brass and the gold leafed mirror frame. Clay likes them too. I asked the owner of the restaurant if they were hard to keep clean and he said not at all. They look fun when you wash your hands and the bubbles are on them. LOVE IT!

XOXO,
Penny

It's amazing what you can find just by going to the restroom! I've seen something like that in a restroom somewhere (but at my age, I can't remember where! LOL)

Thanks Kathy!

I first thought he looked like him when I saw the pic of him with all the girls kissing on him. I was like, is that Jack Black? I love Jack Black. He was fantastic in the movie School of Rock and also in King Kong. I bet your son could show up on sets and be allowed in. I know he could go to bars and get free drinks!

Oh I love the Idea. I am doing my nieces home in pink and brown. We are using pictures from Vieques. Some we did in sepia. It is really cute. This would be great in her guest bath. We are using shell around the house anyway. Thanks.Kathy
